Paul Simon’s song “So long Frank Lloyd Wright” might be apropos to the trend that Modernist buildings are catnip for the wrecking ball these days. He wrote the nostalgic tribute to Art Garfunkel since Garfunkel was an architecture student before he was a song writer. Coupled with the coincidence that Paul Simon performed on the the 40th Anniversary of Saturday Night Live on Feb. 15, it seems like a fitting post for today. So, play it again Paul.
